A Leitrim based Senator has said that higher fines and more prosecutions is the only way to deal with illegal dumping.
Last month the government announced that it is to spend €2m this year on tackling litter black-spots around the country.
Drones and CCTV are to be used in a bid to clamp down on illegal dumping.
But Senator Frank Feighan says the only way to curb the problem is more prosecutions…..
