Emmet Blain, Lower Glencoagh, Mountcharles, Co. Donegal. Tragically in Dubai. His remains will be reposing at his late residence today. Removal from there on Saturday morning going to the Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles for 10am funeral mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only donations in lieu if so desired to the Kevin Bell fund C/O Gallagher Funeral Directors, Mountcharles or any family member. A one way system will operate at the wake, entry at Mountcharles village opposite the green pump and exit at the Glen on the Mountcharles/Donegal road. House private on the morning of the funeral please.



Mary Brennan nee Mulkerns. Peacefully at St.Johns Hospital, Sligo and formerly of No.42 Mountain Close, Cartron Point, Sligo. Remains reposing at St.John’s Hospital Chapel today from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, followed by removal to St.Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan to arrive at 7pm. Funeral mass on Saturday at 11am, burial afterwards in Rahoon Cemetery, Galway at 3pm approx.



Tom Ward, Drumboarty, Letterbarrow, Donegal Town, suddenly at his late residence. Brother of Sean, Brian and Paddy. Reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles today from 4pm with removal at 5.30pm going to the Church of the Holy Redeemer Drimarone to arrive at 6pm. Funeral mass on Saturday at 1pm with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.




Kathleen Kivlehan, nee Gavaghan, Belra, Lavagh, Ballymote, County Sligo. Peacefully at Bailey’s Nursing Home, Tubbercurry in her 99th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Peter and son John. Reposing at the Morahan Funeral Home, Tubbercurry this evening from 4:30pm with removal at 7:30pm to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mullinabreena at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in Courtabbey cemetery.



Derek (Dixie) Crowley, Calhame, Bruckless, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital.  Remains reposing at his late residence today from 12 noon to 10 pm.  Funeral mass on Saturday at 11 o’clock in the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal, Bruckless.  Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please on the morning of the funeral.



Shona Gillen, 42 St. Benildus Avenue, Ballyshannon and formerly of Lawn Park, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Reposing at her late residence. Remains going to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhshannon on Saturday morning for 11am funeral mass with burial afterwards in the Abbey cemetery. House Strictly Private At All Times Please. Patrick Joseph (Josie) Torsney, (Peace Commissioner), Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. In his 92nd Year. At Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Fowley’s Funeral Home Dromahair today from 5pm to 8pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Dromahair at 8:30pm. Requiem mass at 12 noon on Saturday. Burial afterwards in Creevelea Abbey New Cemetery.


Noel Brennan, Innishfree Court, Sligo and formerly of Glenageary, Co.Dublin. Peacefully in North West Hospice, Sligo. Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo this evening from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral will arrive at St.John’s Church, Carraroe, Sligo on Saturday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12:30pm with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery afterwards. Iris Henderson, Newfoundland, Canada and formally of Kilmacreddan, Inver, Co. Donegal. Her ashes will repose at the residence of her Brother Billy Henderson at Kilmacreddan, Inver on Saturday from 2pm until 10pm. Burial will take place on Sunday at 2pm in St. John’s Church Inver. Family flowers only please. House private on the morning of the burial please.


Cait O’Mahony, nee McBrearty, Inchicore, Dublin and formerly of Bogagh, Carrick, Co. Donegal. Wake at her home in Inchicore on Sunday from 12 noon to 9pm and funeral mass on Monday at 12 noon at the Oblates, Inchicore.
