Donegal GAA health and wellbeing event at Sunday’s final league game

The Donegal GAA Health & Wellbeing committee as part of their Social Inclusion initiative (2018) programme have this year decided that they will host individuals with an intellectual disability and a family member or carer at an event hosted by Donegal County Board.  The event we have chosen is the Donegal V Mayo National League game on Sunday 25th March.

The committee hosted a similar event last year at the Donegal V Dublin National League game in February.  Last year’s theme was age friendly day and proved to be very successful.  Donegal County Council and the Health & Wellbeing Committee in Croke Park Council co-hosted this event with us last year and we are confident they will come on board again this year.  The committee are extending this invitation to 40 persons with an intellectual disability and a family member or carer and if possible selected from right across the county.
