Jason McGee to commit to Donegal U20s

Donegal have announced that Jason McGee will step back from training with the senior squad to make himself available for Gary McDaid’s U20 panel instead.

A statement from Donegal GAA stated that the Cloughaneely clubman is ‘well on his way to recovery from injury and it was felt that it would be more beneficial for Jason and Donegal to continue his recovery over the next few weeks before the U20 season starts on April 1st’.

McGee made his senior intercounty debut last season, and was joint-captain of the Donegal team that won the Ulster Minor Championship in 2016.

He was also a key part of Declan Bonner’s U21 team that claimed the Ulster title last season.
