Sligo based national athletics coach Ray Flynn, claims we have ‘gone soft’ in this country, in the context of the postponement of some local athletics events during last week’s storms. Ray has also criticised the staging of local stress control events, claiming that there are few, if any people, stressed in Ireland. He made his comments in his Sligo Weekender column
