Sligo and Donegal youngsters nominated for prestigious FAI awards



Sligo’s Seamus Keogh and Donegal’s Amy Boyle Carr have both been nominated for accolades at the annual Three FAI International Awards, which take place on Sunday week.

Grange’s Keogh is shortlisted for the U15 boys awards, while Carr, who has already represented the Irish senior women’s team, is nominated for the U16 girls award.

Derry’s Shane Duffy and James McClean are nominated for the senior men’s award along with goalkeeper Darren Randolph.

Duffy is also up for the young player award along with Cyrus Christie and Callum O’Dowda.

Megan Campbell, Denise O’Sullivan and Harriet Scott are shortlisted for the women’s senior award.

Preston’s Seani Maguire is nominated for the League of Ireland award alongside former Cork City team-mate Conor McCormack and Patrick McEleney, who now plays with Oldham.
