A Fine Gael Minister says this year is significant in marking International Women’s Day today.
Minister for European Affairs Helen McEntee is in Donegal today to attend a Citizens Dialogue on the Future of Europe being held in the Radisson in Letterkenny.
Speaking to Ocean FM News ahead of that event and on International Women’s Day today she said this year’s marks 100 years since women got the vote.
She says alot has been achieved in that time but more still needs to be done and a new unit in the Department of Justice is working to achieve that aim:
