BumbleAir to transport sick girl from Strandhill to Dublin this morning



A young girl from Co Sligo who has cancer will be flown to Dublin for medical treatment this morning.

BumbleAir is a new wing of BumbleAnce – and the charity transports sick children across Ireland for medical treatment.

The 6-year-old who has a Wilms tumour is currently undergoing chemo treatment every third Wednesday.

Normally, she travels by car which can take hours and be very stressful. And Sligo Airport manager, Joe Corcoran says they were happy to facilitate this mornings flight:
