All of the weekend’s GAA and Ladies action postponed



All 33 of this weekend’s Allianz National League games in football and hurling have been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.

Round Five of the Football League will be rescheduled for the weekend of March 11.

Among the ties affected are Donegal’s trip to Tyrone; Sligo’s home game against Longford; Fermanagh’s trip to Westmeath and Leitrim’s scheduled trip to London.

The fifth round of Hurling League games will now be played next weekend with the finals in Divisions two and three pushed back.

Donegal were due to travel to Armagh, Sligo were set to be away to Fermanagh and Leitrim were due to host Cavan this coming weekend.

In Division One, the quarter-finals have been moved to St Patrick’s weekend.

The semi-finals will be played a week later with the final pushed back to the 31st of March.

All Lidl National Football League games scheduled for this weekend have been also postponed, due to adverse weather conditions.

Counties involved in Division 3 and 4, including Leitrim and Fermanagh will now play this round on the St Patrick’s weekend; while counties in Division 1 and 2, including Donegal and Sligo will play now this weekend’s scheduled games on the weekend of the 7th/8th April.

Donegal were due to host Cork, Sligo were set to be at home to Laois, Leitrim were due to host Down, and Fermanagh had a home fixture against Kilkenny.
