Decision to ban swimming at Tullan Strand is criticised

Swimming is to be banned at the popular Tullan Strand in Bundoran. The ban is being put in place as a result of a risk assessment carried out by Irish Water Safety, arising from the death of an irish solider at the beach in August, 2016.  However, Killian O’Kelly of the TurfnSurf surf school in the town has slammed the decision, and says what’s needed are lifeguards
