The Taoiseach has accused those slamming the National Planning Framework of providing ‘opposition for oppositions sake’.
The plan, which will outline the development of the country up to 2040, is to be launched in Sligo tomorrow.
A group against the plan says Leo Varadkar is trying to announce it without involving the Dáil.
They want the plan to have to be approved by all TDs, but the government fears that would just lead to parish pump politics.
