Donegal bucks national trend with rent prices



Donegal is bucking the national trend when it comes to rent prices.

Rents rose by over 10 per cent across the country in 2017.

New figures from Daft-dot-ie shows that people now pay on average € 1,227 every month.

Rents in the capital are 4-thousand 500-euro more a year than they were during the peak of the Celtic Tige

However, rent prices in County Donegal have remained static in the past year because of Brexit, rising by only around 3%.

Daft.ie say there has been a weaker demand for housing in Northwest county.
