Gardai seek information on break-ins to car and pub in Donegal

Gardai in Donegal are appealing for information following two burglaries in the area at the weekend.

One was ‘a smash and grab’ from a car parked at a beach while the other was a break-in to a pub.

The break-in to the car occurred at Murvagh Beach near Laghey about lunchtime on Saturday.

Two friends out for a walk returned to find their vehicle broken into and a number of items taken.

Meanwhile, the Coach House Bar in Donegal Town was broken into for the second time in two months.

It happened about 3:30am on Friday morning when an amount of cash was taken.

Two suspects were seen on CCTV entering and leaving the premises.

Gardai in Donegal want to hear from anyone who may have information or who may have seen suspicious vehicles around the times or places of either crimes.

Gary Pearson, owner of the Coach House Bar, says he hopes someone around the town may have seen something or that businesses with CCTV may have captured images that will help catch the culprits:
