Donegal ladies game abandoned due to snow

Donegal’s Lidl National League Division One tie against Westmeath yesterday had to be abandoned due to snow.

Donegal were 3-9 to 1-8 ahead midway through the second half, when the referee had to make the decision to end the game due to the inclement weather conditions.

The game had twice switched venues before eventually taking place at the artificial pitch at St Loman’s GAA Club in Mullingar.

Prior to that game being abandoned, Sligo and Leitrim’s games had already been postponed.

Sligo had been due to host Armagh in Division Two at Kent Park, while Leitrim were set to field for the first time this year in their home game against Offaly, before that too was called off.

In Division Four, Fermanagh beat Louth by 3-10 to 2-5.
