The final document which will outline a vision for the country until 2040 is expected to be revealed in the next week.
It’s understood that the Taoiseach is considering holding a special cabinet meeting in Co Sligo next week, and the final document will then be launched afterwards.
The plan, known as the National Planning Framework has come in for huge criticism from rural TDs especially here in the North West.
