Motorists are being urged to drive with care this morning as there is snow and ice effecting many parts of the northwest.
South Sligo, Leitrim and parts of Co Donegal are the worst effected areas.
A status yellow warning from Met Eireann is in place until midday and accumulations of up to 3 centimetres are expected in the north and west.
