Sligo councillors say condition of local roads now ‘a crisis’ situation



Rural councillors in Sligo are hitting out over what they say is the worsening condition of local roads in their areas.

Such is the situation that two Fianna Fail councillors, Paul Taylor and Martin Baker, have now called for a special meeting of the council to discuss the issue.

They also want to organise a cross-party deputation to meet the minister responsible over what they say is now ‘a crisis.’
