Behavioural therapist being recruited for Cregg House



A Sligo councillor says a behavioural therapist is being recruited to fill a vacancy at a school for people with intellectual disabilities outside Sligo town.

The position remains vacant at St Cecilia’s School at Cregg House and it was feared the position would not be replaced.

However, the Minister with responsibility for disability issues, Finian McGrath, has confirmed a new behavioural therapist is now actively being recruited.

Independent Councillor in Sligo Marie Casserly says the Minister also has given a positive commitment to replacing the speech and language therapist at the school as well:
