Letterkenny and Sligo University hospitals allocated no extra beds



The two hospitals in the Northwest have been allocated no additional beds this winter.

170 beds have opened in thirteen hospitals across the country, but Letterkenny and Sligo University Hospitals have not been included.

Both hospitals have been regularly overcrowded in the past few months, with dozens of patients waiting on trolleys.
