People in south Donegal can wait no longer for new fire stations.
Almost twenty years ago Donegal County Council embarked on a programme of building twelve new fire stations.
Nine out of the twelve were built, but Ballyshannon, Bundoran and Glencolmcille were left without.
Cllr Barry O’Neill says these stations now have to get the go ahead, and he says a station serving both Ballyshannon and Bundoran is a non runner:
