Project highlighting historic sites in Sligo running for 5 months



A special effort will take place in Sligo this year to promote awareness and knowledge about local archaeology and historic sites.

The Sligo Community Archaeology project will run for a five-month period until the end of May, and may be extended if more funding becomes available.

It’s being run by the Heritage Office of Sligo County Council and Tamlyn McHugh of Fado Archaeology in Sligo.
