The new CEO of Leitrim County Council is expected to be ratified at a meeting later today.
Lar Power, currently a Director of Services at Waterford County Council is expected to fill the role in the coming months.
It’s the second CEO who will be joining the team in Leitrim from Waterford.
Outgoing CEO Frank Curran also came from Waterford County Council and left recently to take up the same position in Wicklow.
Director of Services Joseph Gilhooly has been acting Chief Executive since Mr. Curran’s departure.
