Martin McDonagh whose mother comes from Easkey in west Sligo has been nominated in a number of categories this year for his movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Paul Young from Boyle is the CEO and founder of Cartoon Saloon – a well-known animation firm based in Kilkenny.

This week they received an Oscar nomination for their latest film “The Breadwinner”. It’s the third time they have been nominated for an Oscar.
