Pregnant women on trains to be given ‘baby on board’ badges



People travelling on the Sligo to Dublin train today will be encouraged to give up their seat for pregnant women.

The pilot project will see pregnant women wear a ‘baby on board’ badge so that others don’t have to guess if they need a rest.

Similar systems are already in place in other countries around the world.
