Minister for the Environment launches new climate change plan in Sligo



We’re being warned that future flooding events will cost the state more than a billion euro in damages.

The Government has announced a new plan to try and deal with the impacts of climate change and extreme weather events such as Storm Ophelia.

Three people lost their lives during the storm, 385-thousand homes were left without power while 109 thousand had no water supply.
