The 100 new jobs at Abbvie in Sligo will attract people back to live and work in the Northwest region.
The pharmaceutical company, which is based in Ballytivnan, released details of the major expansion yesterday.
The company says the €113 million investment in new sterile manufacturing technology will help deliver promising treatments for cancers with significant unmet medical needs.
