Man who died in Co Donegal bridge fall is named



A man who died in a tragic accident in Co Donegal has been named as 65-year-old Ian Smith from Co Fermanagh.

A spokesman for the Irish Health and Safety Authority said he had been carrying out work to upgrade at a bridge in Gweedore at the time of his fall.

It is understood he was working for Deane Public Works, a firm based in Enniskillen.

SDLP councillor for Fermanagh and Omagh District Council John Coyle said Mr.Smith was from the town of Ederney in his constituency…..
