Action on social media content ‘long-overdue’



A mental health worker in the region is welcoming what’s being described as a landmark court settlement involving Facebook.

The case — the first of its kind in the world — came before the High Court in Belfast.

It involved a 14-year old girl who took the legal action over a naked photo posted on a Facebook ‘shame’ page.
