The funeral will take place today of the former Donegal TD Paddy Harte.
The former Fine Gael Minister passed away on Monday.
President Michael D Higgins paid tribute to Mr Harte earlier this week saying he would be “remembered not only as a popular and hard-working member of Dáil Éireann for nearly four decades but also for his work in support of the peace process in Northern Ireland and promoting the recognition of the Irish who fought and died in World War One.”
The 86-year-olds funeral will take place in St Eunans Church in Raphoe at 12 o clock this afternoon.
