EJ’s Sligo All-Stars’ new signing Eric Kittel is set to make his first appearance for the club in Saturday’s return to action in the Basketball Ireland Men’s Division One tie against neighbours LYIT Donegal.
The 23-year-old American point guard has joined from Concordia University Wisconsin, where he has played for the last four years.
He will be part of the team for Saturday’s tie, which tips-off at 7.30pm at the Mercy College Sports Centre.
Meanwhile, Donegal’s Fabplus North West face another long journey this weekend.
After making the trip to Cork for the cup semi-final last weekend, the Ballyshannon-based side journey to Limerick this Saturday for a league game against the UL Huskies at the University of Limerick, with tip-off at 5pm.
