A Leitrim referee has been selected to officiate at a prestigious U19 women’s tournament in Portugal next week.
Manorhamilton’s Emma Cleary will be among the team of officials for the tournament in the Algarve from next Tuesday through to Sunday.
Teams that will compete at the competition are England, the Republic of Ireland, The Netherlands, China, Switzerland, Norway and Portugal.
The Manor Rangers clubwoman is one of the country’s top female referees and officiated in the Women’s Champions League last season.
