Call for more staff for Mountcharles respite facility



A Donegal County Councillor has hit out at the HSE for not keeping a promise that a respite service in the South of the county would return to full-time hours.

The Seaview Respite house in Mountcharles currently only operates on a three night basis due to staff shortages.

But six months ago, the HSE gave a commitment that the service would return to seven days, but that still hasn’t happened.
