A brand new service station is set to reopen in Castlebaldwin in county Sligo later this week.
The old McCormacks filling station will now reopen under a new franchise.
It was one of 15 businesses owned by the McCormacks Group that was closed by receivers in June 2016.
The whole area has been badly hit by the recession with the closure recently of Union Foods which closed just before Christmas.
