Searches will continue over the weekend for a missing Sligo man.
Forty-three year old Michael McGowan from Coney Island has been missing for six days now.
Hundreds of people have been gathering daily out at Rosses Point this week to help in the search.
Gardai have confirmed that efforts have been unsuccessful so far but volunteers led by the Gardai and Civil Defence members will continue over the weekend.
The RNLI and the Coastguard helicopter have also been assisting.
