A Northwest hotelier says more needs to be done to attract English people to holiday here.

Less people from the UK took trips to Ireland last year, with brexit and the weak sterling the main factors.

And 60% of the Irish Hotel sector say Brexit has had a negative impact on the industry in 2017.

Phillip McGlynn is the General Manager of the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran, and he says more needs to be done to get English people holidaying in Ireland again:
