Rovers expanding the search for new recruits



Sligo Rovers boss Gerard Lyttle says he has turned his attention to players outside of the League of Ireland as he continues to build his squad for 2018.

Lyttle has signed David Cawley from Galway United, Adam Wixted from Drogheda United and Caolan McAleer from Finn Harps.

But Rovers were also linked with Barry McNamee, Ronan Murray and Kurtis Byrne, before they opted to sign for Cork City, Dundalk and Linfield respectively.

Lyttle says that he is now looking further afield…
