Ambulance drivers and crew in the Letterkenny area are continuing with industrial action in a dispute over time off for excess hours worked.
However, SIPTU Sector Organiser Martin O’Rourke stresses that patient safety is not being put at risk.
He says the action involves not doing what he described as certain ‘bureaucratic’ tasks such as form-filling, not reporting GPS locations and not recording fuel bought.
