The Tiger store in Quayside Shopping Centre in Sligo has announced it’s closing down at Christmas. High rent and rates is believed to be the main reason. Local councillor, Gino O’Boyle, has described the circumstances forcing closure as as disgrace, and insists the various interest groups locally need to take measures to prevent further shop closures
