Fund set up to support Strandhill woman who survived horrific crash in the US

Over one hundred thousand US dollars has already been raised towards the health costs of a Strandhill woman involved in a horrific car-crash in Florida.

On Saturday November 25th, 24 year old Elaine O’Halloran was a passenger and sole survivor of a fatal car accident in Wellington, Florida.

Her employer David Blake has set up a GO FUND fundraising page having worked with Elaine for years on his team where she was an Equestrian Groom taking care of top level showjumpers.

Elaine has undergone spinal surgery but has paralysis from the waist down. Her family have flown out to the US to support her as she undergoes extensive rehabilitation.

The cost of medical care in the US is very high and Elaine’s family have confirmed to Ocean FM News today that they appreciate any support from people locally at this difficult time.
