Justice Minister says there will be no hiding place for criminals in Northwest



The Minister for Justice is reassuring people in rural areas of the north west that there will be no hiding place for criminals.

Charlie Flanagan made his comments to Ocean FM News during his visit to Sligo on Friday amid concern that reported cuts in garda overtime might leave some areas vulnerable.

The minister says he hopes to see some of the garda’s 500 new vehicles come to this region as well as some of the new recruiits who will graduate from Templemore next week.
