Donegal’s 2018 season will get underway with a home game against Queen’s University in the McKenna Cup on Wednesday, January 3, after the fixtures were confirmed by Ulster GAA last night.
Declan Bonner’s first competitive game in charge since he was appointed senior team boss in September will be under the lights in Ballybofey’s Mac Cumhaill Park, with an 8pm throw-in.
At the same time in Enniskillen, Rory Gallagher’s first match in charge of Fermanagh will see them host Monaghan in Brewster Park.
The following Sunday at 2pm, Donegal will travel to St Tiernach’s Park in Clones to face Monaghan, while Fermanagh host Queen’s in Enniskillen.
And Rory Gallagher will return to Ballybofey in round three on Wednesday, January 10, when Donegal play Fermanagh at 8pm.
All of those games will be live on Ocean FM.
The semi-finals will take place on Sunday, January 14, with the final the following Saturday.
