There are calls for a detailed report and a timeframe for improvement works on Tubbercurry Garda Station.
Planning permission was submitted last August to extend the current station in the south Sligo town.
However, Independent Councillor Margaret Gormley says this is the fourth time the station has been extended due to the cramped conditions.
She fears that work may be put off because of the work due to be done in Sligo’s main Garda headquarters in Sligo town:
