Tribunal rejects claims by Garda whistleblower Harrison

The Disclosures Tribunal has rejected claims by Donegal-based Garda whistleblower Keith Harrison and his partner Marissa Simms, that Gardai maliciously interfered in their family life.

An interim report published tonight says the couples’ claims were ‘entirely without validity’.

Mr Justice Peter Charleton made a point of exonerating everyone in social services and in policing, who had been accused.

The Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan, and the Child and Family Agency Tusla, have both welcomed the report’s findings and thanked the tribunal for its work.
