Sr. Gonzage (Ellen) O’Keeffe, Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition, St Joseph’s Convent, Ballymote, Co. Sligo and formerly of Garden Hill, Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at St Joseph’s Convent, Ballymote this evening from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral will arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 Noon, with burial in the Community plot at Sligo cemetery afterwards.
William (Willie) Crummy, Upper John Street, Sligo. Suddenly. Reposing at the Foley and McGowan Funeral Home this evening from 5-30pm with removal at 7pm to Sligo Cathedral, arriving at 7-30pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11-30am on Thursday with interment in Sligo Cemetery afterwards. House private please.
Collette Rooney, Cornastalk, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim. Reposing at her sister Phil’s house at Cornastalk, Manorhamilton this afternoon from 4pm to 7pm with removal to arrive at St Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers please, donations in lieu if desired to Our Lady’s Hospital Patient Comfort Fund.
Danny Haran, Ballyweelan, Rosses Point, Sligo. Unexpectedly at his home. Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel at 7pm on Thursday with Liturgy of Prayer at 8pm. Funeral to arrive at Saint Columbus Church, Rosses Point, Sligo, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11.30am Friday. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
John Cummins, Ballysumaghan, Sooey, Co. Sligo and formerly Ballygawley and Geevagh, Co. Sligo. Suddenly at his residence. Reposing at his home in Ballygawley on Thursday from 4pm to 9pm. Removal on Friday morning to The Church of the Assumption, Sooey, for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o’clock. Interment afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to North West Hospice, c/o Shivnan Funeral Directors, or any family member.
