The promoters of a new whiskey distillery in Sligo are hoping to raise €6m for their project.
The Lough Gill distillery is to be established at Hazelwood House, on the shore of Lough Gill.
The house was the ancestral home of the one-time inflential Wynne family and was later the site for an Italian textile factory, Snia, and a Korean video tape manufacturer, Saehan Media.
Global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald has launched what it says is a new investment opportunity in the proposed whiskey distillery under the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme.
