St Naul’s crowned league champions, as Gaoth Dobhair retain U21 title

Gaoth Dobhair retained the Donegal county U21 title thanks to their defeat of Naomh Conaill yesterday. St Naul’s will face Mac Cumhaill’s in the B final, after the Ballybofey side beat Milford in their semi-final yesterday.

On Saturday, St Naul’s senior team claimed the Senior League Division Three title after beating Red Hughs in their final game.

Naomh Muire were relegated to the intermediate championship after losing their senior play-off to Ardara.

In provincial action, Naomh Colmcille booked their place in an Ulster junior final against Fermanagh side Belnaleck following their one-point defeat of Tyrone’s Tattyreagh.

There was disappointment for Fermanagh senior champions Derrygonnelly though, as they lost out by a point to Cavan Gaels in their semi-final replay.
