Sligo Cllr calls for appointment of a second speech therapist



A Sligo Councillor is calling for the appointment of a second speech therapist and a behavior therapist at Cregg House and St Cecilia’s School in Sligo, which helps those with intellectual disabilities.

Independent Councillor Marie Casserly says the speech therapist there will be retiring soon but adds that one person cannot deal with the number of people who need support.

Cllr Casserly says the behaviour therapst who works there has left.

She is now calling for Sligo County Council to write to the Minister for Health about the situation.
