A proposal to develop a car park on a green area in Rosses Point in County Sligo has been condemned as unprecedented.
Independent Socialist Councillor Declan Bree opposed the proposal at today’s meeting of Sligo Municipal District Council.
The Council is proposing to provide a number of car parking spaces on the village green adjacent to a private business in the village.
