Calls for stronger cross-border health care system links



A Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA has called for stronger cross-border links for our health care system.

Sinn Féin’s Jemma Dolan who is from Belleek says that the two ‘failed’ systems North and South could improve is services were merged.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar met with senior consultants at the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen earlier this week where the calls for more cross-border co-operation were first made.

The calls come as today in Sligo 32 people are waiting on trolleys with 16 waiting in Letterkenny.
