Two more swans killed by overhead power-lines in Donegal over weekend



17 swans have now been killed in Donegal after colliding with overhead powerlines.

The bodies of 15 swans were discovered lying under electricity lines close to the village of Carrigans on Friday.

A member of the public made the discovery and informed BirdWatch Ireland who travelled to the scene along with a local National Parks and Wildlife Service ranger.
